We build for businesses across Southend-on-Sea, Essex, London and the South East, and remotely UK-wide. Some clients come to us with a clear product idea, others just know their customers keep asking for an app. Either is fine. You do not need a technical background; we scope everything with you in plain English before any work starts.

  The design, the code, the content and the source files are yours outright, exactly as with our websites.

• Care and maintenance plans

  Operating systems keep changing. A care plan keeps your app updated, compatible and live in the stores long after launch.

Honest scope notes

An app is a bigger build than a website. Our websites start from £250 and go live within 7 days; apps do not fit that offer. Every app is scoped and quoted individually, and we agree the price and timeline with you in writing before work starts.

Apple and Google review apps before they go live, and their review times are outside anyone's control. We plan for that from the start rather than pretending it is not there.

Sometimes an app is the wrong answer. If a well-built website would serve your customers better for less money, we will say so. You can always add an app later, and the site and app can share the same booking and payments platform.

Fair questions

Have you actually shipped apps of your own?

Yes. Shout and Railway Departure Board are both our own products, live on the App Store today. Railway Departure Board shows live rail data for 2,500+ UK stations. We run the same process for client apps that we used for our own.

How much does an app cost?

It depends on what the app needs to do, so we quote each project individually after a scoping conversation. For context, our websites start from £250; an app is a larger build. You will have a clear written quote before anything starts.

Do you build for both iPhone and Android?

Yes. We build native apps for iOS and Android and handle submission to both the App Store and Google Play.

How long does an app take to build?

It depends on scope. We agree a realistic timeline when we quote, and we allow for Apple and Google's review process, which adds time neither of us controls. We would rather give you an honest date than a fast one.

Who owns the finished app?

You do. You own the design, the code, the content and the source files, and the app is yours to keep, move or build on.

Can we meet in person to talk it through?

Yes. We are based in Southend-on-Sea and meet clients across Essex and London; Southend is about 55 minutes from Fenchurch Street on the c2c line. We also work remotely with clients UK-wide.
